Job Summary
Oversee ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness, coordinate patient flow, and address care concerns or escalations as needed. Round with patients and families to support a positive experience, providing direct patient care when required to maintain safe staffing levels. This 12-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine, offers up to $57.43/hour with an additional $3/hour differential for days and nights shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, required
