Travel ED Charge Nurse

Oversee ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Assist with performance management and HR activities, monitor supplies and unit readiness, and coordinate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges. Address patient care concerns, escalate issues as needed, round with patients and families, and provide direct patient care when required to maintain safe staffing levels. This 12-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts, offers up to $2,067 gross weekly pay plus a $3/hour differential. Candidates must hold a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least one year of acute care ED experience and previous supervisory roles.
