Travel ED Charge Nurse

Oversee ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Assist with performance management and HR activities, monitor supplies and equipment, and coordinate patient flow for admissions, transfers, and discharges. Round with patients and families to support a positive experience, providing direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues as required. Requires a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus one year of ED experience and previous supervisory background. Shifts include days and nights in Lewiston, Maine, with an assignment length of 12 weeks.
