Job Summary

Oversee ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Assist with performance management and HR activities, monitor supplies and equipment, and coordinate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges. Address patient care concerns, round with patients and families, and provide direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels. This 12-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine, offers days and nights shifts with a weekly gross pay ranging from $1,491 to $2,067, including an additional $3/hour differential. Candidates must hold a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least one year of ED experience and previous supervisory background.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
  • Previous supervisory experience, required
  • PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
