Job Summary
The Travel Director of Nursing is responsible for managing Nursing Services, ensuring quality standards of care, and coordinating resident care plans in compliance with physician orders and regulations. The role involves supervising nursing staff, participating in admissions decisions, and conducting the nursing process under the State’s Nurse Practice Act. Candidates must be licensed RNs with an Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing and have significant supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
Desired Qualifications
- Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred
- At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required
