Job Summary
Monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure, breathing, and heart rate while following continuous cardiac and respiratory monitor readings such as EKG tracings, O2 stats, and CVP/arterial line waveforms. Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions by consulting with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, including life-saving situations, and support post-operative care after cardiac surgeries. Shifts are 3x12 Days.
Required Qualifications
- Travel CVPICU RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care RNs (CVPICU RNs) provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Assist the physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures, which can include life-saving situations
