Job Summary
Travel CVOR RN position in St. Louis, MO for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular/surgical procedures, ensuring sterile equipment and supplies, supporting safe patient positioning, assisting with post-surgical care, coordinating with the surgical team (surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists), maintaining Universal Protocol compliance, documenting specimens, and ensuring patient handoff to the recovery team. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, and ability to follow instructions; will operate in the cardiovascular operating room, handle equipment, and adhere to infection control and safety standards. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
