Job Summary
Travel CVOR Registered Nurse on a 13-week assignment in McKinney, TX. Provides direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgical procedures; collaborates with the surgical team to ensure sterility and functionality of supplies/equipment; assists with patient positioning and draping; coordinates immediate post-surgical handoff and continued care; adheres to Universal Protocol and safety/infection control standards; supports post-operative care and documentation. Essential skills include critical thinking, good interpersonal communication, English reading/writing, and the ability to follow instructions and operate PC systems. Required: one year CVOR RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS; preferred ACLS and other certifications. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
