Travel CVOR RN

Travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Roslyn, NY providing direct and indirect nursing care within the Cardiovascular operating room. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to ensure sterile equipment, proper patient positioning and draping, and coordinated post-surgical care. Responsibilities include preparing the CVOR, assembling equipment and implants, verifying surgical supplies, and adhering to Universal Protocol and timeouts. Maintains sterile procedures throughout surgery, responds to intraoperative emergencies, and supports overall patient outcomes. Essential skills include critical thinking, effective communication, English proficiency, and ability to follow verbal/written instructions; requires the ability to stand, maneuver equipment, and work under supervision as needed. Licensure and certifications required: active RN license and current BLS; ACLS preferred.
