Job Summary
Travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Memphis, TN. Provide direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure sterile equipment, proper patient positioning and draping, and post-surgical handoff. Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic procedures, prepare the OR, assemble equipment and medications, follow Universal Protocol and timeouts, document specimens, and respond to intraoperative emergencies. Strong communication, critical thinking, and adherence to safety/infection-control guidelines are essential; travel benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
