Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients while assisting in monitoring and supporting them throughout the surgical procedure. Collaborate with the surgical team to confirm sterile supplies and equipment, ensure safe patient positioning, and coordinate immediate post-surgical care. Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures, including open and closed heart surgeries, while adhering to universal protocols and infection control guidelines. Respond effectively to emergencies such as cardiac arrest and handle specimen documentation accurately. This 13-week travel assignment in New Brunswick, New Jersey, offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for a skilled CVOR RN.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
