Job Summary
Travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Fort Myers, FL. Provide direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes. Prepare and verify sterile equipment and supplies, assist with patient positioning and draping, and coordinate post-surgical care handoff. Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic procedures, ensure Universal Protocol/timeouts, and manage specimens and intraoperative care. Requires reading/writing English, strong communication, and PC skills; must meet essential physical and mental demands. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
