Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the CVICU, administering complex medications and operating advanced life-support equipment including arterial lines and pulmonary artery catheters. Manage hemodynamic monitoring, document interventions and patient responses accurately, and provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care while adhering to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education. One year of recent CVICU experience, valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. 13-week travel assignment in Towson, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
