Job Summary
ICU-focused Travel CVICU RN role providing comprehensive, critical care to ICU patients for a 13-week travel assignment in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, administering complex medications and treatments, operating advanced life-support equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings, documenting care, performing and interpreting hemodynamic monitoring, educating patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Requires critical thinking, strong communication, proficiency in English, ability to follow instructions, and physical ability to perform duties. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Desired Qualifications
- CCRN certification
- TNCC
- NIHSS certification
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
- One year of recent CVICU RN experience
