Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the CVICU, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and treatments while operating advanced life-support equipment, including arterial lines and pulmonary artery catheters. Document all interventions and hemodynamic monitoring data accurately to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and training.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
