Job Summary
Travel CVICU RN responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care in the ICU, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, performing advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, pulmonary artery catheters), documenting in the medical record, educating patients and families about the ICU environment and recovery expectations, adhering to infection control protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. 13-week travel assignment in Austin, TX with highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
