Travel CVICU RN

ICU/critical-care travel nursing role for CVICU RN in Urbana, IL. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, administering complex medications and treatments, operating and managing advanced life support equipment, and ensuring patient safety in high-acuity ICU settings. Duties also encompass documenting assessments and interventions, performing advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters), providing education to patients and families, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and adherence to regulatory standards; must have one year of CVICU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS (CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS, and other certifications preferred).
