Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the CVICU, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and operate advanced life-support equipment while performing and interpreting hemodynamic monitoring. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record to ensure continuity of care. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education. This 13-week travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, requires one year of recent CVICU experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
