Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive critical care for patients in the CVICU, assessing and monitoring critically ill individuals while operating advanced life-support equipment and administering complex medications. Manage arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters, accurately documenting all interventions and hemodynamic changes to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families on recovery expectations, and adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and training while working under pressure with irregular activity schedules.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an CVICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
