Job Summary

Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition. Administer complex medications and treatments, operate advanced life support equipment, and interpret hemodynamic monitoring data including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines to protect immunocompromised patients. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and training.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as an CVICU RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
  • Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
  • Critical thinking

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
