Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, collaborate with radiologists for high-quality interpretations, and maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in hospital systems, perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice, and adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
