Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, providing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot functionality issues, and document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in hospital systems. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, adapting to different equipment and protocols across facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
