Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing patients for procedures and positioning them for safety and image accuracy. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies, perform routine equipment maintenance, and document patient information accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services while adapting to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
