Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate specific anatomy and pathology, collaborate with radiologists for high-quality image interpretation, and perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging details accurately in hospital systems while maintaining compassionate care throughout the imaging process. This 8-week travel assignment in Alturas, California requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid state radiology license, and current BLS certification, with ARRT preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses
