Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing and positioning patients while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot functionality, and document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the hospital's system. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, adapting to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
