Job Summary
The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, prepares and positions patients with safety and image accuracy in mind, sets appropriate imaging parameters, and collaborates with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting imaging procedures and patient information, adhering to radiation safety standards, and providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process; duties may include routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment and coordinating with radiology staff to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
