Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images for interpretation. Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, document patient information and imaging details accurately, and adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
