Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing patients and positioning them for safety and image accuracy. Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies while performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the hospital system, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities, performing other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
