Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes; prepare patients for procedures, position patients appropriately, and explain imaging process; set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology; provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation; adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies; perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment; document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details; collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services; adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities; travel assignment for 13 weeks; CT Tech role emphasizes safety, patient care, and accurate imaging.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
