Job Summary
CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for procedures, position patients with safety and image accuracy considerations, set appropriate imaging parameters, provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation, adhere to radiation safety standards, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment, document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. The role requires adaptability to different CT equipment and protocols and emphasizes safety and compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
