Job Summary
The CT Technologist operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, prepares and positions patients, sets appropriate technical parameters, ensures image quality for radiologists, maintains equipment, documents imaging details in the hospital system, and adheres to radiation safety standards while delivering compassionate patient care; the role requires adapting to different CT equipment across facilities and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification (Preferred)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
