Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, collaborate with radiologists for high-quality image interpretation, and perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging details accurately, maintain patient records, and follow hospital policies to ensure staff and patient safety. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities, working under pressure to meet deadlines while providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
