Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes while preparing and positioning patients for procedures. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety, perform routine equipment maintenance, and document patient information accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities, and perform other duties as assigned. This 13-week travel assignment in Danbury, North Carolina, offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
