Job Summary
Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing and positioning patients while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment, document patient information and imaging parameters accurately, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities. This 13-week travel assignment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota requires a valid Radiology license, one year of recent experience, and current BLS certification, with ARRT preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
