Job Summary
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing patients and positioning them for safety and accuracy. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, providing high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment, and document patient information accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services while adapting to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
