Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes, preparing and positioning patients while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, then provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Maintain equipment, document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system, and collaborate with physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities while performing other duties as assigned. This 13-week travel assignment in Joshua Tree, California requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
