Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, collaborate with radiologists for high-quality image interpretation, and perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Document patient information and imaging details accurately in hospital systems, maintain patient records, and follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
