Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies, preparing and positioning individuals for safety and accuracy while adhering to radiation protocols. Set technical parameters to demonstrate specific anatomy and pathology, maintain equipment through routine troubleshooting, and document patient information and imaging details accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and state regulations. This 13-week travel assignment in Mount Airy, North Carolina, requires a BLS-certified CT Technologist with one year of recent experience and a valid Radiology license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
