Job Summary
Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes while preparing and positioning patients for procedures. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology, providing high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately in the hospital's system, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities during this 13-week travel assignment in Oxford, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
