Job Summary
Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately while adhering to radiation safety standards. Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy, maintain equipment, and document patient information in the hospital's system. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services and perform other duties as assigned. This 24-week travel assignment in St. Peters, Missouri requires one year of recent CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. Preferred ARRT certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
