Job Summary
Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities include confirming patient identity and exam verification, coordinating with physicians for diagnostic imaging, preparing patients and explaining procedures, inserting IVs, positioning patients (including moving patients with limited mobility), accurate EPIC documentation and ensuring images are properly sent to PACS, and maintaining a clean, safe scanning facility. Requires NYS licensure prior to start, ARRT certification, 2+ years trauma center experience, and BLS. Injection certification preferred and may be completed during orientation. Proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred. Strong communication, patient-centered approach, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position)
- Two (2) Years' Experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Telemetry
