Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography scans by positioning patients, administering radiocontrast agents, and capturing diagnostic images of internal organs using CT equipment. Verify patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures while ensuring images are accurate for physician interpretation. Evaluate scan quality, maintain patient records, and follow radiation safety protocols. Utilize the McKesson PACS system for image management. Requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARRT (CT) certification.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- state-specific licensing when required
- sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
- ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- ability to bend, lean or stoop easily
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- 2 Years experience
