Job Summary
CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing physician orders, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging in accordance with department protocols. Works with CT leadership and Radiologist to produce diagnostic images with ALARA techniques, operating imaging equipment to obtain designated body-part images, and collaborating with unit staff and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based care. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Eighteen (18) months of CT experience
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility
