Job Summary
Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, conducting analysis on options and proactively anticipating needs to sell additional services. Book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations using Global Distribution Systems like Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus. Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider rules, and regulatory requirements while utilizing positive telephone service techniques. Collaborate with the team to coach and mentor others for improved service levels. This 24/7 operation requires flexibility for night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Located in Manila, Philippines, this role offers internal promotion opportunities within Amex GBT's Traveler Care unit.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
- Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and/or Galileo)
- Professional communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
- Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
- Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier
- Teamwork and openness to feedback
- Flexible and prepared to shifting schedules including night shift and weekends/holidays
