Job Summary
Conduct patient care in telemetry units, assessing learning needs, implementing teaching strategies, and managing nursing team resources. Titrate cardiac drips, monitor post-cath and post-cardiac surgery patients, and utilize telemetry strips while adhering to federal, state, and local laws. Maintain compliance with privacy standards and safety protocols, adapting communication styles to diverse patient populations and ensuring proper delegation of duties. Requires a Registered Nurse license with 1–2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down, including sheath and drip titration skills, with a 3x 12-hour shift schedule. Must reside over 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse diploma
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
- 1 year experience
- Must live >65 miles from job site
- 1 years experience working Telemetry units, cardiac step down
