Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Manage nursing resources effectively while communicating, delegating, and adapting explanations to diverse patient populations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program. Perform duties involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications within a patient care area. Requires a current RN license in LA or Compact, BLS certification, and 1 year of experience (2 years preferred). Includes 3x 12-hour shifts with health insurance and a travel package comprising taxable wages and a tax-free stipend.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse diploma
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
- 1 year experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience
