Job Summary
Assess patient needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse groups while managing nursing team resources on a 3x 12-hour shift rotation. Deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, adapting communication styles to specific populations and respecting privacy. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and utilize data to evaluate outcomes and promote change. Perform duties involving exposure to blood and body fluids, requiring strong judgment and the ability to work under pressure. Must live more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with ICU Experience
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute
- Valid RN license in the state of work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
- Required minimum 2 year in ICU or CCU experience (intensive care or critical care)
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- EPIC experience
- Certification in clinical specialty area
