Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care in the progressive care unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans tailored to patient needs while administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, document progress, and adjust protocols as necessary, maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses to care initiatives. Adapt to various shift schedules, including days and nights, to meet the facility's staffing needs and ensure continuous coverage. This 13-week assignment in Raleigh, North Carolina, requires a BSN, active RN license, and at least one year of high-acuity experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
- Active RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- At least 1 year of recent high‐acuity RN experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- adaptability to short‐term contract onboarding
- effective communication and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in cardiovascular, ICU, trauma, or similar settings
