Job Summary
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures per physician orders, administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic scans, and operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to state and federal regulations. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. This 13-week contract near Palm Springs, CA offers competitive weekly compensation up to $3,600 (DOE) and travel stipends for qualifying candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Active CNMT or ARRT (N) certification
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in nuclear medicine
