Job Summary
Travel Consultant duties include searching and confirming travel reservations, applying client travel policies, and fulfilling regulatory requirements (DOT, TSA, passports, visas). Provide clients with industry information such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties; pursue opportunities to review and improve operational processes and commercial relationships with clients; maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industries supported; and communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in Amadeus GDS is mandatory; experience with corporate travel and transit visa knowledge is preferred. The role emphasizes client-facing responsibilities in a global travel-management context with a virtual work environment and standard day-shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience dealing with Corporate Clients
- Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus (Mandatory)
- Knowledge on Transit visa preferable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
